Another Stormy Day (1971 - Age 24)

 Lyrics by Beverly White

Music Composed, Arranged & Performed by Michael Woodhead
Copyright © 1971, 2021 by Michael Woodhead

Another stormy day is coming
Looks like hell
I think it's Armageddon
Break your shell

Another stormy day is coming
Satan's coming, too
It's gonna be the last war
Now, whatcha gonna do

Everybody wants to go to heaven
But nobody wants to die
Everybody wants to help somebody
But nobody wants to try

Another stormy day is coming
It's coming soon
The day sun will be blackened
To blood will turn the moon

Another stormy day is coming
Make your peace
There won't be another chance
For Life will cease

Everybody wants to go to heaven
But nobody wants to die
Everybody wants to help somebody
But nobody wants to try

Another Galaxy (1970 - Age 23)

Written, Composed, Arranged & Performed by Michael Woodhead
Copyright © 1970, 2021 by Michael Woodhead

And so, my friend, you see
On this, we disagree
For on the starry sea
Another galaxy

The ship docks at the quay
I listen to your plea
You view, as so does she
Another galaxy

Standing only for a while
You see what Time has done

And now, it's time for tea
The animals are free
To wander endlessly
Another galaxy

And so, my friend, you're free
To wander aimlessly
Down molten paths debris
Another galaxy

Standing over on the shore
You know that Time has won

And now, by some degree
We move towards the lee
To save us from the Gee
Another galaxy

Now, down upon your knee
No longer need you flee
You have come home to me
Another galaxy

Standing on the grass-green plain
You search the skies for suns

Another Day, Another Night (1966 - Age 19)

Written, Composed, Arranged & Performed by Michael Woodhead
Copyright © 1966, 2021 by Michael Woodhead

Another day, another night
And still no sight of you
Another may, and I might
Have another fight with you

Another day, another night
My dreams they might come true
In darkest day, or brightest night
What am I to do?

Though I miss you so
You never should have gone
Down through the passing years
Another love has come and gone

[Musical Lines]

Another day, another night
I'm a strange sight when I think of you
Others say that I might
Reunite one night with you

Though I miss you so
You never should have gone
Down through the passing years
Another love has come and gone

Another day, another night
And still no sight of you
Another may, and I might
Have another fight with you
Want to reunite with you
But, I don't know what to do

Anneke (1973 - Age 26)

Written, Composed, Arranged & Performed  by Michael Woodhead

Anneke, like a star goddess of the night
I yearn to feel your arms about me tight
The planets above us beam so bright
I caress your hair in the moonlight/
I know that my love will be sweet
I know that my heart will still beat for you

Anneke, a star in the Milky Way
Your hair—so beautiful in disarray
We’re touched by the cool, blue ocean spray
I recall that night of the first day

[Musical Lines]

Anneke, just remember that I love you
I know that I would never be untrue
Let’s keep this secret entre nous
As we lie in the mist of the night-dew
I know that my love will be sweet
I know that my heart will e’er beat for you

Annalisa (1969 - Age 22)

Golden hair and blue eyes
Which the sun beautifies
Please, don't cry, Annalisa

Woman, now personified
With me on this eventide
View with pride, Annalisa

Annalisa, fill my soul with you
Annalisa, fill me through and through

Hand in hand, we walk along
Listening to the evensong
All day long, Annalisa

Sunrays glide upon your hair
Other women can't compare
You're aware, Annalisa

Annalisa, born 'mid chrysoprase
Annalisa, look with eyes ablaze

Annalisa, Annalisa, Annalisa

Ania
Can you see how much I love ya
Every day I just think of ya
And how much I really care

Ania
Can you see how much I need ya
With the food of love I’d feed ya
Just to see you standing there

My love, it’s you (My love, it’s you)
That I shall woo (That I shall woo)
I’ll hold you near (I’ll hold you near)
Close to me, dear

[Musical Verse]

My love, it’s you (My love, it’s you)
That I shall woo (That I shall woo)
I’ll hold you near (I’ll hold you near)
Close to me, dear

Ania
Can’t you see how much I want ya
Like a ghost, I’m gonna haunt ya
Making all your dreams come true

My love, it’s you (My love, it’s you)
That I shall woo (That I shall woo)
I’ll hold you near (I’ll hold you near)
Close to me, dear

The years are far between us
The difference can be seen
But, Angela, I love you so
You know what I mean

People try to part us
But, still our hearts beat true
For, Angela, I care so much
You would ne'er be blue

[Musical Verse]

And now, you’re here, beside me
The future lies ahead
Dear Angela, I’ll never go
You know what I’ve said

I love you
I love you

Angel Of Love (1997 - Age 50)

Written, Composed, Arranged & Performed by Michael Woodhead

You must have come from above
On the wings of a dove
My precious angel of love

You tell me how much you care
And the things we can share
My precious angel of love

You give me strength to achieve
All the things I believe
My precious angel of love

You fill my life to the brim
Giving light to the dim
My precious angel of love

You fill my life with a dream
Pouring in like a stream
My precious angel of love

You walk with me everywhere
Telling how much you care
My precious angel of love

You must have come from above
On the wings of a dove
My precious angel of love

You tell me how much you care
And the things we can share
My precious angel of—
Precious angel of—
Precious angel of love

Angel of Light (1988 - Age 41)

Written by Michael Woodhead
Copyright © 1988, 2025 by Michael Woodhead

Don't judge a book by its cover
Don't look for a sight in the night
    Don't be surprised to discover
    An angel of light

A path goes on before you
Through Life it's meant to lead
The Book of God will show the way
Will give you what you need

Don't judge a book by its cover
Don't look for a sight in the night
    Don't be surprised to discover
    An angel of light

But, somewhere on that winding road
Another way might shine
Whose words seem clear, and true and sure
But, read between the lines

Don't judge a book by its cover
Don't look for a sight in the night
    Don't be surprised to discover
    An angel of light

Angel In the Morning (1970 - Age 23)

Lyrics by Patricia ‘Trisha’ Eeckeleers
Composed, Arranged & Performed by Michael Woodhead
Copyright © 1970, 2007

There is an angel in the morning
Kissed by the wind of a summer's rain
There is a crowd of people mourning
Stung by the winds that come again
Golden shadows of the angel
Put a glimmer in each eye

[Musical Verse]
Golden shadows of the angel
Put a glimmer in each eye

And there's a sunrise on my window
Where raindrops will no longer fall
For there's a moonbeam on the wind below
Casting shadows on the wall
Golden shadows of the angel
Put a glimmer in each eye

Angel (1973 - Age 26)

Written by Michael Woodhead
Copyright  1973, 2025 by Michael Woodhead

Slowly descending from blue skies above
Is an angel
An angel and a dove
Clothed in only the rays of the sun
Hovering and glancing at everyone
Then below she comes
And I succumb to her beauty
Her dazzling beauty
My limbs benumb

Softly she calls me, and I go to her
To the angel as a prisoner
Now I find that my clothes have all gone
But I think it nothing
For what comes anon
Then above I go to a blue rainbow
And her beauty
Her dazzling beauty
I soon shall know

And I stopped before her
Her arms enfolded me
All fear was gone, and shame was, too
Oh, it was blessed this feeling I knew
Her beauty was incomparable
As mine was, too
For I had changed, my body was new
I’m now an angel, and I speak to you
Let love reign amongst you
Let all wars be gone
For children of God
You all must become

And You Shall Call Me (1966 - Age 19)

Written by Michael Woodhead
Copyright 1966, 2025 by Michael Woodhead

And when I see you smile
I think of you
And if you think of me
I know you'll say
That you will love me forever more
But one thing more
And you shall call me

And when you say you care
I know I'll do
All that i can, my dear
To make you mine
And you will kiss and hold me tight
Yet, one thing more
And you shall call me

And Who Shall Mourn for Him (1974 - Age 27)

Written, Composed, Arranged & Performed by Michael Woodhead
Copyright © 1974, 2021 by Michael Woodhead

He shall come and die for you
He shall live eternal, too
He shall set you free from sin
And who shall mourn for him
And who shall mourn for him
And who shall mourn for him

Know that the way is open to you
He is Love, love is the way
Know that God is waiting for you, too
He is Love, love is the way

Day and night, he prays for all
In our eyes, he stands so tall
Night and day, fulfills each whim
And who shall mourn for him
And who shall mourn for him
And who shall mourn for him

Know that the way is open to you
He is Love, love is the way
Know that God is waiting for you, too
He is Love, love is the way

(Musical Interlude)

Know that the way is open to you
He is Love, love is the way
Know that God is waiting for you, too
He is Love, love is the way

He shall come and die for you
He shall live eternal, too
He shall set you free from sin
And who shall mourn for him
And who shall mourn for him
And who shall mourn for him

And So It Ends (1968 - Age 21)

Written, Composed, Arranged & Performed by Michael Woodhead
Copyright © 1968, 2021 by Michael Woodhead

And so it ends
Love between friends
Let's make amends
When love descends
And so it ends
Love is a beautiful thing
Love comes to you in the spring
Love joins a woman and man
Love all at once had began
Between a woman and a man

[Musical Verse]

And so it ends
Following trends
Misapprehends
And still transcends
And so it ends
Love is a beautiful thing
Love comes to you in the spring
Love joins a woman and man
Love all at once had began
Between a woman and a man

And No Birds Sing (1968 - Age 21)

Written, Composed, Arranged & Performed by Michael Woodhead
Copyright ©1968, 2021 by Michael Woodhead

Nothing is left but a dead, charred world
There are no flowers, no women or men
There really is nothing and no birds sing

Nothing remains but a wearied Earth
There are no fauna, no women or men
There really is nothing and no birds sing

SPOKEN:
Oh! How I miss them—the sweet songs of birds
The nightingales' tunes to the silvery moons

Nothing is seen but a dead, burned world
There are no women, there are no men
There really is nothing and no birds sing
