Got No Time (1966 - Age 19)

Written, Composed
Arranged & Performed
by Michael Woodhead
Copyright ©1966, 2021

Got no time to sit and play with you
Got no time to talk today with you
Cause I'm working each hour
To please you and me
And I'm trying to shower
My love, can't you see

Got no time to sit and talk with you
Got no time to take a walk with you
Cause I'm trying each minute
To make you so glad
I'm trying each finite
Dimensions of sad

Got no time, my head is filled with pain
Got no time, my body's chilled with rain
And I'm crying for you, dear
Wherever you are
I'm crying for you, hear
Here, there, or afar

Got no time, again my heart is low
Got no time, forever start to grow
Make me know that you love me
I know I love you
Know you're above me
I know I'll be true

Golden Dewdrops (1968 - Age 21)

Written, Composed
Arranged & Performed
by Michael Woodhead
Copyright © 1968, 2021

Golden dewdrops fall upon me
‘Neath the early morning sun
Walk I now beneath a rainbow
Where a new day has begun
Tell me what you think of sunshine
Tell me what you think of rain
Is it hard for you to tell me
Is it hard to bear the pain

Golden dewdrops fall upon you
Shining in the morning air
Pearls and diamonds sparkle brightly
Pick a shoot of maidenhair
Tell me what you think of rainbows
Tell me all I need to know
Is it hard to say the words, love
Is it hard for you to show

Golden dewdrops fall upon them
Glinting ‘neath the mid-day sky
And before the aged walks she
Thoughts I'd wish to purify
Constantly, I call upon you
Telling you to keep away
Is it hard to understand, love
We've been led so far astray

I can live forever
Nothing real will sever
Golden blood
Reincarnation
Mystic incantation
Golden blood

If someone is chasing you
Don't panic, use your head
Find some place to hide
Or you will find they want you dead

Find some pleasing pleasure
And you'll find your leisure
Golden blood
Lift your hearts together
Naught will ever tether
Golden blood

If someone is chasing you
Don't panic, use your head
Find some place to hide
Or you will find they want you dead

If you feel like dying
Laugh, do not start crying
Golden blood
Hold your arms out to me
Swim in Life's Karma Sea
Golden blood

If someone is chasing you
Don't panic, use your head
Find some place to hide
Or you will find they want you dead

God's Truth About Gender

David E James IV
VMI Publishers
2008
ISBN: 978-1-933204-60-4
Christian Living, Contemporary Life

In order to better understand the rest of the book, I highly suggest reading chapter seventeen first; then the reader will know how the author comes to some of his conclusions.

There was a time when “God’s Truth” meant more to me if I saw it in the title of a book, but at this stage in my life, I’ve come to realize that the “truth” often depends upon one’s interpretation of it.

Since I experienced some of what the author has suffered, I understand his background. David James’ (a pseudonym for personal reasons) interpretation will be seen to be very conservative. In spite of some of the arguments he presents, I don’t totally agree with everything he postulates.

For example, on the subject of masturbation, he uses the oft-misquoted scripture of how Onan ‘spilled his seed on the ground’ instead of impregnating his brother’s wife as commanded.  However, it was not ‘masturbation’ that the Lord found ‘wicked’, but rather, Onan’s disobedience. [Genesis 38:8-10]

In addition, the author tends to ‘compartmentalize’ men and women -- woman should be the ‘girly-girly’ type, and men the macho hero.  According to the author, that’s pretty much the way God planned it. I have a problem with this, especially since I have never been a ‘macho man’ and don’t want to be. That’s not me.

That said, the author does present some interesting arguments, supported primarily by Old and New Testament scriptures, but conclusions with which the reader may or may not agree. He covers such subjects as masturbation, homosexuality, marriage, and gender identity.

Goddess Of Love (1971 - Age 24)

Written, Composed
Arranged & Performed
by Michael Woodhead

Your eyes sparkle like gems
Your lips are rosy red
All these treasures belong to you
My goddess of love
After I set my eyes on you
I never once felt blue
Now, you're mine to keep and hold
My goddess of love

Your skin is fair to touch
And I love you so very much
You set my heart aflame
My goddess of love
After I felt your hand in mine
I knew it was a sign
That you're mine to keep and hold
My goddess of love

Your eyes sparkle like gems
Your lips are rosy red
You set my heart aflame
My goddess of love
After I kissed you tenderly
You were the one for me
Now, you'll be mine forevermore
My goddess of love

Glory Road

You've got to rid yourself of fear
To walk upon this road
For it is only here
Where the brave make their abode
Many dangers pass you
Many people die
This is no place for cowards
Or people who will cry

Glory Road

You've got to give yourself to her
To walk upon this place
For it is only she
Who can save your honoured face
Many perils flower
Many people die
This is no place for cowards
Or people who will cry

Glory Road

Girlchild Nadine (1971 - Age 24)

Written, Composed

by Michael Woodhead

There is a girlchild whose name is Nadine
Hair like the bright stars: a silvery sheen
Ever have I
Wanted to cry
When in her eyes I've seen

Tears shining brightly beneath the sun's light
Day passing by, then returning as night
Day after day
Wanting to say
Will you please pray for right

Girlchild Nadine
Knows what she's seen
Girlchild Nadine
Knows where I've been

Up to the galaxies we will soon fly
There to a planet I know we can buy
Once again, you
Know what to do
As we listen to a psi

There is a girlchild whose name is Nadine
Wants me to write and to sing a love-paean
So I reply
I would not lie
When I descry her mien

Girlchild Nadine
Soon will be queen
Girlchild Nadine
Knows what we glean

I call on her each night
And she holds me tight
Oh, and I love her so much
She's the girl I love

She's the girl I love
Love with all my heart
She's the girl I love
And we'll never part

I love her oh so much
I thrill to her soft touch
Oh, and I love her so much
She's the girl I love

She's the girl I love
Love with all my heart
She's the girl I love
And we'll never part

She knows I love her so
She says she'll never go
Just cause I love her so much
She's the girl I love

She's the girl I love
Love with all my heart
She's the girl I love
And we'll never part

Gerrine, Gerrine
Don't break my heart
I love you so

Gerrine, Gerrine
I want you near
Oh, don't you go

I want you so
Won't you say that you'll be mine
I need you so
Won't you say you'll be mine all the time

Gerrine, Gerrine
Please say you'll care
And come to me

Gerrine, Gerrine
I'd give my all
Unyieldingly

I want you so
Can't you say that you'll be mine
I need you so
Won't you say you'll be mine all the time

From Outer Space (1970 - Age 23)

Written by Michael Woodhead
Copyright ©1970, 2023

From outer space my brothers came
To make the world of Man
And now, it's never been the same
Since Space and Time began

From outer space my sisters came
To marry mortal men
They set the loveless soon aflame
Above yon mortal ken

From outer space my fathers came
To raise a world of Love
And now, they only can acclaim
The works of those above

From outer space my mothers came
To nurse the rising race
And soon, my families did proclaim
The planets they'd embrace

From Om to Orgasm

Chandi Devi  &  J Ram  Sivananda
AuthorHouse
2008
ISBN: 978-1-4343-4960-6
Tantra, Sexuality, Spirituality,

Tantra involves more than just sex, and this ‘primer’ explains so much more of the spiritual, psychological, moral, and physical reasoning behind it.

Utilizing a multitude of charts, photographs and illustrations, the authors demonstrate how Tantra works, and what various elements of it correspond to, or mean.

As they draw on both ancient and modern resources, the authors explain and expound on such concepts as life energy, the chakras, yin and yang, karma, love, intimacy, the Tantric secret to manifestation, sexual union, worship, just to name a few of the topics related to this ages-old art of spiritual sexuality.

Also included are some suggested practice sessions for individuals and couples, and some ‘quick Tantra tips’ which take five minutes or less to complete.

Overall, this is an excellent introduction to a highly misunderstood life path. Explanations of various concepts abound and, although better suited for couples, the information presented is more than adequate for individuals as well, offering wisdom regarding significant others—“the partner we select should share our basic philosophy of life, possess interests, energy and passions similar to our own, and have a capacity for spiritual growth, mental expansion, and emotional development”.

Certainly, advice we could all use from an early age.

Also included is an interesting chart that contrasts Western thought and Eastern teachings—i.e. Western religion and Eastern spirituality.

If you’re curious at all about Tantric philosophy, then this book is for you, for you, too, may discover the path to Bliss.

Yes, everyday, love me true

I have the power of speech
So, love, please give ear

For They Bring Us Love and Peace (1970 - Age 23)

Written by Michael Woodhead
Copyright ©1970, 2023

High above me in the sky
There the mighty starships lie
Waiting patiently the hour
When the earth will lose its pow'r
Then we'll know that wars will cease
For they bring us Love and Peace

We shall welcome them in love
These our brothers from above
They will show the way of Right
Set the shining, guiding Light
Then we'll know that wars will cease
For they bring us Love and Peace

We will learn to love Mankind
For we are of one whole Mind
And then, as the ages pass
We will share the water-glass
Then we'll know that wars will cease
For they bring us Love and Peace

And when all has been complete
We will feel the searing heat
Of the rebirth of the soul
From the limbo world, Sheol
Then we'll know that wars will cease
For they bring us Love and Peace

Following the Call

Ann Licater
Cul de Sac Mystic Productions
2007

Flute music, to me, has always been very haunting in its sound. The wood and clay flutes on these selections are no exception.

Plaintive and sonorous, these Native American and World flutes call out from an ageless time and a seemingly vast expanse of emptiness, expressing a wide range of emotions, and touching a myriad of senses in the listener.

Sometimes Ann plays the instruments individually, and at other times, in harmony or counterpoint, or with harmonics; but in whichever manner she's chosen to perform, the sounds and the music of these original tunes and improvisations reach into the soul and resonate with the listener's inner feelings, creativity, and intuition.

Let these expressive compositions transport you to a deeper rendezvous with your soul and spirit.

Flowers In the Garden (1967 - Age 20)

Written, Composed
Arranged & Performed
by Michael Woodhead
Copyright ©1967, 2021

So many flowers in the garden
And not a single one for me
So many flowers in the garden
And not a single one for thee
Flowers in the garden
So many are they
Flowers in the garden
In breezes they sway
Bending neath the rainstorm
Opening to the sun
Bending neath the rainstorm
Opening to the sun

So many flowers in the garden
And not a single one alive
So many flowers in the garden
But, not enough to fill a hive
Flowers in the garden
I pick some for you
Flowers in the garden
Red, white, pink and blue
Drinking in the water
Bending in the rain
Drinking in the water
Bending in the rain

[Musical Verse]

So many flowers in the garden
I go to join them anyhow
So many flowers in the garden
Will you come and join me, now
Flowers in the garden
Wandering without clothes
Flowers in the garden
Shame is dead, we know
Wandering with the faeries
Wandering to and fro
Wandering with the faeries
Wandering to and fro

Flight of the Damned (1969 - Age 22)

Written by Michael Woodhead
Copyright ©1969, 2023

Wand'ring through fields of flowers
Wond'ring where to go
Wand'ring 'neath rainbow showers
Wond'ring what to do
Here it comes—the flight of the damned
Understand
What is a cryptogram

Knowing not what soon may chance
Upon their weary band
Wanting only peace, romance
Within their faerieland
Where there's Love and there's Truth
And there's Peace—a masterpiece
The flight of the damned
Their numbers will increase

Searching for the cherubim
And the garden, Eden
There to find the seraphim
And new life again
Here it comes—the flight of the damned
Understand
Unfathomed oriflamb

Firestone (1969 - Age 22)

Written by Michael Woodhead
Copyright ©1969, 2023

Hot, flaming lava flows from crevices deep
I climb the hills about which seem to be steep
Firestone
It burns my feet and chars my hands
As I walk about in 3-D lands

Hot, flaming gases blow from crevices deep
I try to stop the tears, but always do I weep
Firestone
It makes my hands sweat and makes me crawl
I want to hide my form from all

I seek some shelter, there's none to be found
I keep on walking back and forth, and then around
Firestone
Stuns my senses; all things blue
I seem to fall away from her

And now, my mind is growing dim
He's left and taken her with him
Firestone
Surrounds me as I seek shelter free
But firestone is all around me
